A mask is never just a mask. It protects. It hides. It distorts. It changes how we read the person wearing it, and how much we trust what we think we see.

That’s the space I’m interested in with the Mask Series — the space between who we are, who we present to the world, and what slips through anyway.

I don’t want to tell you what this painting means. I want you to bring your own story to it.
