“Man is least himself when he talks in his own person.

Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.”

Oscar Wilde

MASKS: An Interactive Virtual Art Experience
by Gregory Malphurs

A transformative journey through modern portraiture.

Unmask Yourself. Discover the Stories Beneath.

About the exhibition ...

You’ve worn masks.

So have I.

Every day, in ways big and small—

We hide, edit, protect, present.

This exhibition isn’t about the masks themselves.

It’s about what happens when they slip.

Each portrait in MASKS peels away the surface.

Fragments. Layers. Half-truths.

I didn’t create these pieces to show you faces,

I created them to show you what’s beneath.

To invite you to stand still long enough

To recognize something you’ve been hiding from yourself.

What you'll get inside:

Full Access to the MASKS Portrait Collection

Behind-the-Scenes Studio Videos

Exclusive PDF Manifesto: The Human Mosaic

Self-Revealing Interactive Prompts

Direct, Curated Access

Okay. But why should I give a f*#k?

This Exhibition Breaks the Frame. You Don’t Stand Outside—You Step Inside.

This isn’t scrolling past a feed.

This isn’t a gallery with labels telling you what to feel.

MASKS isn’t about standing at a distance.

It’s about stepping closer.

Close enough that you start to see yourself staring back.

It’s messy. It’s layered. It’s unfinished—on purpose.

Because the meaning doesn’t come pre-packaged.

It comes from what you bring to it.

This is art without the velvet rope.

Direct. Unfiltered. Personal.

Ready to look deeper?

A great portrait isn’t just a painting—it’s a doorway.

Portraits aren’t passive.

They don’t just hang there, waiting.

They pull you in.

Behind every face is something unfinished—

A memory. A struggle.

A truth you weren’t expecting to recognize.

They ask you to step closer.

To see not just the subject, but yourself reflected back.

Portraits are time capsules, yes.

But they’re also mirrors.

Windows.

Maps to somewhere inside you.

You don’t just view them.

You enter them.

And when you do—

You don’t exit the same.

$29. Yours to Keep. Forever.

No time limits. No fine print. Full access, always.

Here's what they're saying:

“These portraits stir something in me, they evoke certain feelings … really inspiring.”

Serena, Basel

“Each one of these captures the tension between identity and concealment with a striking emotional depth.”

“I found it extremely interesting and I highly recommend that you take this journey.”

Linda, Los Angeles

"This virtual exhibition is … more profound than going to a gallery or museum."

Paul, New York City

“Honestly mind blowing … I’m now thinking about the masks I wear daily.”

Ginny, London

  • The MASKS series is designed to resonate on a personal level. It explores emotions, identity, and the layers we all carry. Even if the stories you uncover aren’t exactly like Gregory’s, they’ll still reflect something meaningful in your own life. That’s the power of this art.
